Akemi Katashi (堅 明美 Katashi Akemi?) is one of the main characters and the lead protagonist in Aikatsu Stars! ~Aidoru no Hikari~. Akemi is an ultimate dreamer, however her main goal is become a member of S4. She is a cute type idol whose primary brand is My Little Heart.

Akemi is warm-hearted, kind, and beautiful, and always looks towards the future of her world. She enrolled herself to go to Four Star Academy because she wants to fulfill her sick dad's wish to make him happy and healthy again, and help him to sing.

Akemi has auburn-colored hair styled in two wavy pigtails and has two straight bangs on each side. She has magenta eyes.
