The Idol I'll Become (私はなるよアイドル) is the 1st episode of Aikatsu: Dream! and the 1st episode of the Aikatsu Dream! series over all.
Synopsis[]
First year idols Momo Amachi and Chou Fujita are just starting out with their idol activities. When they take an exam to help them discover what kind of idol they'll be, they encounter the top idol, and Momo suddenly has a change of heart.

Summary[]
Momo and Chou are touring their new campus, with Chou teaching Momo about each stop they make. Momo monologues in her head that she had just recently been accepted into Polaris Academy, but only became an idol to help her friend Chou past her stage fright, and how she'd quit being an idol after Chou was able to perform on her own.
Their final stop is the audition hall, and they both sign up for an test performance that will help them discover whether they'd become a Cute, Cool, Sexy, or Pop type idol. Chou explains to Momo that these four idol types are the basis to the Aikatsu! Card system; they help idols learn about the card brands that they would like to use.
Afterwards, they head to their dorms for the night to begin their first real practice session as idols.
In a few days time, after Momo and Chou are well prepared, the exam takes place and the two girls change into their school coords (the Apricot Melody and Purple Melody Coords, respectively) and perform 1•2•3 Shine!. After they perform, their results come in, and Momo is revealed to be best suited to become a cute type, and Chou, to her joy and surprise, becomes a sexy type idol.
After they get their results, Madeline sees them and tells the two of them that she sees potential in both of them, and she'll be looking forward to seeing more.
While Chou is left in awe and surprise, Momo is instantly enchanted by the idol's personality, though she's also left wondering why that idol had suddenly left such a big impact on her feelings about her idolhood.
From that moment on, Momo decides to become an idol permanently, and to give it her all, so she can impress Madeline again.
